Admission Open Notice for BSc Ag in Kathmandu University, 2078/79 Batch.

Kathmandu University (KU) calls for application for admission in BSc Agriculture for the academic year 2021/2022. Candidates are required to appear in the Kathmandu University Common Admission Test (KUCAT). The Entrance Exam will be conducted in the mode of Computer Based Test (CBT). The admission offer list will be published on a merit basis.


Eligibility to Study BSc Ag in Kathmandu University (KU):-
  • Must have taken PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in both XI and XII (or equivalent)
  • A minimum grade of C individually in each course.
  • OR
  • If the student has been evaluated in the percentage system, minimum 50% in aggregate of PCB and minimum 50% in total aggregate.

Fee Structure for 4 years Full Course: NRs. 8,20,000.


Online Registration Date: From 26 September to 30 October.


Entrance Exam Type: 120 Marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 2 Hours Time.

Application Processing Fee and Payment Methods
Application Processing Fee: NRs. 1500/- (non-refundable / non-transformable)
Application processing fee can be paid through Digital Wallet and Bank

Methods to Pay

1. eSewa
  • Login to the e-Sewa portal(https://esewa.com.np) or use e-Sewa mobile application
  • If you are using the web version, then Go to the "School & College" Category
  • Select "College" section
  • Search "KU Entrance Fee Payment" and click on it
  • Filled all information and make payment
  • After successful payment, you will get payment detail. Copy the Reference Code and provide it in the application form.

If you are using a mobile application, then
  • Click School Fee (icon)
  • Select 'College Fee payment'
  • Search 'KU Entrance Fee Payment' in the search box
  • Click on 'KU Entrance Fee Payment'
  • Filled all information. Provide the same email as you have registered for an application form.
  • Make Payment. After successful payment, you will get payment detail. Copy the Transaction Code and provide it in the application form.

2. Khalti
  • Login to Khalti portal (https://khalti.com) or use khalti mobile application 
  • Click on Bazar
  • Search KU Entrance Fee Payment and Click on it
  • Filled all information. Provide the same email as you have registered for an application form.
  • Make Payment. After successful payment, you will get payment detail. Copy the Unique ID (not a Transaction ID) and provide it in the application form. 

3. Bank (NIBL)
Visit any branch of Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. and deposit NRs. 1500/- in the following details
Account Name: Kathmandu University
Account Number: 00501030250009
Branch: Banepa

The applicant's name needs to be indicated in the voucher.

Take a clear picture of the voucher and upload it in the application form.

Note: Don’t make payment using Bank Transfer Mode from eSewa and khalti or through Internet Banking / Mobile Banking Mode. Only use the method as mentioned above. Another method of transfer may not be considered a valid transfer.
